Feedback, Complaints or Compliments

Therapy Train Stirling has two separate complaints procedures for our adult counselling and child therapy services as outlined below:

Feedback about our Adult Counselling Service or Counselling Training Courses

At Therapy Train Stirling CIC, we aim to keep the quality of our service to clients to a professionally high standard. If we did a good job to support you, please tell us by email.

We aim to provide a quality service to all our clients, volunteers, students, colleagues and trainees. However, if you are dissatisfied with our adult counselling support or training services, please tell us what went wrong so that we can put it right as soon as possible. If you let us know how you think we can improve our level of service, we will listen.

For a full copy of our complaints procedure at Therapy Train Stirling CIC, please contact our Lead Director Rebecca Black via info@therapytrainstirling.co.uk.

Rebecca will:

  • respond promptly to your complaint
  • explain our complaints policy procedure in detail
  • send you a copy of our complaints policy procedure (if requested) in an appropriately readable format

Should you need to raise a complaint please follow the link to COSCA’s complaints guidelines and procedure.  http://www.cosca.org.uk/guidance-policies/complaints

Feedback about our Play Therapy Service or Child/Parent Relationship Training

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience as a Service User regarding our volunteers or any play therapists working with us, please note that Rebecca Black (Lead Director) will respond informally in the first instance to any Complainant. We aim to respond promptly to resolve any aspect of the service that could be improved.

Complaints regarding Play Therapists

At Therapy Train Stirling, our Play Therapists will be associated with the British Association of Play Therapists, so if the first informal stage of the complaints review is unsatisfactory, a written complaint may be forwarded to:

Email: complaints@bapt.uk.com

The British Association of Play Therapists [BAPT] try to ensure that all BAPT Play Therapists offer the highest standards of care and service. However, you may be unhappy with the service you are given, or worried about the behaviour or health of a BAPT member. Please do talk to your Play Therapist in the first instance about your concerns to try and sort things out informally.
